  • Declawed: No
  • Housetrained: Yes

Name:  Chevy

Sex:  Male

Approx. DOB:  October 2008

Weight:  Red and White

Eye Color:  Blue

Energy Level:  Medium to high. Chevy loves to play with the other dogs in his foster home while he's outside but also knows how to settle down nicely and relax when he's inside.

Personality:  Chevy is just adorable and a wonderful boy. He's curious and playful and affectionate and loves to give kisses. He's silly and playful and sweet but very laid back at the same time!

Good with Dogs:  Yes

Good with Cats:  NO. Chevy was kicked out of VA for killing two goats when his owner decided to let him out of his fenced yard. ggrrr.  He can not and will not be adopted out to anyone that lives in VA. He can not and will not go to a home with cats, rodents, rabbits, birds, livestock or small breeds. Siberians are notorious for their high prey drive and typically kill cats, rabbits, birds, chickens, squirrels, opossums and in Chevy's case....goats.

Good with Children:  Siberians are typically good with children of all ages and the only reason we would not list them as not good with kids is because they may be too energetic and bouncy and knock over a toddler.

Housetrained:  Yes

Crate Trained:  Yes but he can pop a crate door to let himself out!

Rides Well in Car:  Yes

Leash Trained:  Does pretty well on leash with not much pulling

Basic Obedience:  Chevy knows sit and has wonderful house manners. He's just a good Siberian and will be adopted quick.

All Southern Siberian Rescue foster dogs are microchipped, up to date on shots, spay/neutered and on monthly heartworm preventative. For additional information on Southern Siberian Rescue and Siberian Huskies, please visit
