Border Collie / Siberian Husky (medium coat) : : Male : : Young : : Medium
Get out your running gear or agility equipment because Mr. Comet needs a job and an outlet for all of his energy. He pings around the back yard at the speed of sound and leaps like deer!!! He loves to play chase with the other dogs and like the energizer bunny, keeps going and going and going. Comet is a black and white Border Collie/Siberian Husky mix with bi-eyes, meaning one eye is blue and one is brown. He weighs in at a mere 37 lbs. and his estimated DOB is August 2005. Comet has a lot of personality and is a lot of fun. He will need a fenced in yard and other canine(s) to run and play with. He is probably too bouncy for toddlers as he may accidentally knock them over. He loves kisses and loves to be where you are. He does pretty well in a crate but does have a high pitched "bark" to let you know when he is ready to get out. He enjoys a good Nylabone when he settles down for quiet time. He has not been tested with cats but his Foster Mom thinks he is too curious about everything and he may play a bit too rough with cats. She doesn't think he will hurt a cat, but most likely think it fun to bat around or chase. If you are an active person and need a companion to join you, put your application in for Comet today. All Southern Siberian Rescue foster dogs are microchipped, up to date on shots, spay/neutered and on monthly heartworm preventative.
